Clarksburg is an unincorporated area in northern Montgomery County, Maryland. It is located at the northern end of the Interstate 270, about four miles south of Frederick, Maryland. Since 2000 there has been major growth in the area of Clarksburg. A new town center is being built in the heart of Clarksburg, near the historic center. Clarksburg also is the hub of the county’s Premium Outlet shopping that consists of upscale retail stores and eateries. It is located close to parks and recreations and is an ideal place to relocate to.
